About the role

We are looking for a rendering engineer who cares as much about the 1% low as the hero screenshot. You will work directly with our Principal Rendering Engineer and Technical Art Director on VxEngine's next generation of real-time lighting, temporal reconstruction, and GPU-driven geometry.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement rendering features in VxEngine's frame graph and visibility systems.
  • Profile and optimize GPU and CPU frame time across a broad hardware matrix.
  • Collaborate with technical artists on material, lighting, and particle pipelines.
  • Build tools and debug views that make rendering problems visible and fixable.
  • Mentor engineers and review rendering code across the studio.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of professional rendering or engine programming experience.
  • Deep knowledge of modern graphics APIs (D3D12, Vulkan, or Metal) and GPU architecture.
  • Strong C++ and real-time debugging skills.
  • Shipped at least one commercial title or equivalent production project.
  • Clear written communication and a bias toward measurable results.

Nice to have

  • Experience with temporal upscaling, virtual shadow maps, or GPU-driven rendering.
  • Console development experience.
  • Familiarity with large, streaming open worlds.
