San Aurelio is an 8×8 kilometre city with eleven distinct districts, more than 600 enterable interiors, and thousands of custom assets. Every storefront, apartment, vehicle, and streetlight was placed by a person who cared whether it felt real.
Horizon RP has been live since 2018. It is not a round-based game or a seasonal reset. It is a persistent city with jobs, businesses, property, politics, emergency services, and a player-driven economy — a place where people build lives and the stories that come with them.

Your first night
in San Aurelio.
No whitelist. No application. No entry fee. Own Unturned, join the server, read the rules, and start a life. The city will do the rest.

Unturned is free on Steam. Install it, launch it, and make sure you're on the latest version.
Find Horizon RP
Open the server browser and search “Horizon RP”, or press F1 and connect directly to play.horizonrp.net.
Join the city
Read the rules, create a character, and step into San Aurelio. No whitelist. No application. Just be a person.
Find your life
Get a job, open a business, buy a car, rent an apartment, join a department, or do none of the above. The city is yours.

Is Horizon RP free to play?
Yes. You only need Unturned, which is free on Steam. Horizon RP has no subscription and no paid entry. Supporter perks are cosmetic or quality-of-life only — never power.
Do I need to apply or be whitelisted?
No. Horizon RP is open to everyone who agrees to the community rules. Create a character and join. Our staff team actively moderates for roleplay quality and harassment, but there is no application gate.
What is life RP?
Life roleplay is a persistent city where you play a character with a job, a home, relationships, and consequences. There are no rounds and no resets. Police, medics, business owners, criminals, and civilians all share the same city.
Can I own a business or a home?
Yes. San Aurelio has persistent housing, storefronts, and businesses. You can rent or buy property, hire players, set prices, and build a reputation. The economy is simulated and audited every season.
Is it pay-to-win?
No. Supporter packages include cosmetics, garage slots, and quality-of-life conveniences. They do not grant money, vehicles with better stats, weapons, or influence over the city. That has been our rule since day one.
Which region is the server in?
The main server is hosted in US West, with a global player base and an active EU/OCE community. We publish performance notes and maintenance windows in Discord.
How do I report a player or a bug?
Open a ticket in the Horizon RP Discord. Reports are reviewed by the community and moderation teams. Bug reports go to the same place and are triaged by our QA lead.
